We have already seen the upcoming HTC One M9 in some leaked blurry cam photos, but today, we get to have our clearest look at the handset, thanks to the photos posted by the folks over at Phandroid.

It is quite evident from the photos that the One M9 will sport the same design as its predecessor, the One M8. The only notable change in the front is the minor reduction in size for the HTC bezel, but again, this is something that will hardly be noticed by most users at first glance.

It looks like HTC has also finally moved the power button to the right edge of the handset and separated the volume buttons into two different keys. Most OEMs had already positioned the power key on the right or left edge of their device, but HTC continued to place it at the top — where it is was an ergonomic disaster.

The back images of the One M9 reveal a similar story. While HTC seems to have tweaked the color coating it will be using on the M9, the back remains largely unchanged. The biggest difference is in the camera cutout, which now has a rectangular camera module.

While the source of Phandroid was not able to confirm the full specs of the device, he did confirm that the handset will indeed ship with an octa-core processor and 3GB RAM.

Rumors have indicated that the One M9 will ship with a 5-inch Full HD display, a Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB RAM, a 20MP rear camera and a 2,840mAh sealed internal battery.

HTC is all set to unveil the One M9 at MWC in Barcelona, Spain on March 1st.
